I now have a website!
Thanks to Seth (a.k.a. Sethme), I have a way to keep people updated with what my little world consists of. There will probably be many craft and food experiments, animal and friend love, and art inspiration. I would love responses if anyone is willing to give them, and I am excited to share and discuss. Introductions might be needed, in case someone doesn’t know much about me, or my family. I am an artist currently living near Toledo Ohio. Not the most exciting location, but the people (and creatures) that surround me make it more exciting.
This is Muca. She is about 2 years old, eats constantly, squeaks a lot, and ‘popcorns’ occasionally. Her favorite things are eating, sleeping in the pigloo, and biting Rowan’s tail.
This is Rowan. She is a little over one year old, love-attacks constantly, lays upside-down in the middle of the floor a lot, and acts crazy when not loving. Her favorite things are love attacking, crawling through tubes, and sleeping in Muca’s cage.
There are so many things that have happened since this time last year. I won’t even try and write about them or show images. However, there are things that have happened more recently that I find worth at least being mentioned. Most recently Bowling Green had its annual art walk. As usual I was spending a Saturday in the studio working on my commission of 30 illuminated posters for Pianofest In The Hamptons. I was joined by Sethme (the other owner of our shared brain). It was nice to talk to interested people after working so long on the same project. It gave me a new perspective… and spending time with Sethme always makes things interesting.
A little farther back, we spent Easter at my parents house. Sam (my awesome friend and roommate) joined Sethme and I. We decorated eggs and assembled sugar egg displays with my parents. We also went running/picture taking on the bike path. a Little later on, Sam’s sisters Emma and Diane came to visit. We had a fun time at the zoo and tried to avoid being scram-balled by one another.
When it comes to food, I have been experimenting with baking lately. Earlier in the year, Sethme and I made mini cupcakes with a blueberry frosting/sauce on top. They turned out very cute and tasted good as well. Last week I used a plain vanilla cupcake recipe and substituted vanilla soymilk and lime for the liquid and added lime zest in to the mix. After they were baked, I filled them with blueberry preserves and made lime frosting for the top. The blueberry lime combination was amazing, but they were a little sweeter than I would like. Also, I used a new kind of wrapper that needed to be torn off instead of unwrapped. This confused a few people. I will have to give a lesson in cupcake unwrapping to my testers next time. 
I think this is a good summary of what has been taking place lately, and I hope it wasn’t overwhelmingly long. Hello to everyone, and YAY… I am getting a new camera (Fujifilm FinePix s700) and will be taking pictures and posting whenever I can!

Hmm…. that sure is an interesting camera. It is still top of my list, but I am holding my breath for the upcoming release in the naive belief that it will be improved further. Aw heck, I may as well get down to the camera store and purchase one.
