It is snowing. I hope it will be a very long time before I see it again. I love winter, but am ready for spring. Ready to run, wander around taking pictures, and going home on weekends to kayak. I am ready to be outside. Taking advantage of the wet and cold, I have shut myself inside for the day, painting, drinking tea and coffee, watching the cats, and eating almost an entire box of lucky charms that I finally let myself get. Colleen’s portrait is done. I am happy with it if i think of it as a start to painting after so long. It has reopened a door so I am very appreciative, but I have a long way to go. I am determined to start feeling like I am accomplishing something. I know spring will give me a boost.
