It’s been awhile. I’m waiting out the winter and laying low. Mid-winter is not the most flattering time for me. Once there is even a tiny bit of spring, I will bounce back. Baking, friends, and being cozy with the family keeps me together till I can get outside and play.

Because we are thinking so much of our Grandmas lately, we thought we should send them a family portrait. Not everyone was excited about this idea.  (Note Oliver’s angry eyes and Rowan’s frustration with him)

I have lots of help with laundry.

Experienced working with fondant for the first time. Fun, but there was LOTS of cracking. I think Geoff loved his Birthday camo-pants-cake anyway!

Strawberry filled Birthday cupcakes for Alisha… and mini strawberry filled feel-better cupcakes for Alisha’s daughter Aydia.

This weekend we had a visit from Jeanie Weenie and took a trip up to Ann Arbor. Orange juice drink from McDonalds, REI, $3 bottles of wine from Trader Joes, and cheap cute things from IKEA.
