Soggy shoes and a bad case of ‘wet sock.’

OK rain, give it a rest. Our backyard should not be half covered by a lake, the kitchen floor is now always a dark muddy tan instead of white, I am tired of being stuck inside, and wet puppy does NOT smell good.

With that said, I would still rather the rain than the very cold and snowy. Ive been able to go for runs. Woohoo! I’m on a role this week. I can deal with cold wet toes and some drizzle. Ive been logging them all from Runmeter on my phone which sends them to my dailymile account. It’s nice having all my information in one place.
Thought I might share my usual music I listen to when I run. I mix it up sometimes, but these are the albums I count on 75% of the time.

This is my #1! The beat is great without being annoyingly overwhelming. I count on this album to make me feel better and let me go longer distances because there aren’t uninteresting songs that I need to skip through. HIGHLY recommend this!!!

Ive ran the my only two races to this next album. It helps when I need to be a little more intense and focus on what I’m doing instead of zoning out. Not something I listen to other than when running, but I can count on it when I need to hype myself up. There are the few songs that I sometimes skip through which can be annoying.

Last but not least is the newest addition. Ive only ran to this album a couple times in the past week and I love it. Maybe its the rainy days and pensive attitude, but it works. The only problem is, the CD gets a little more mellow half way through so by the end of my run I contemplate changing music, but its a good start. The first song is my favorite.
